Membership

Membership in the International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) is a valuable investment for anyone interested in the engineering and geosynthetics industry. In addition to outstanding international representation, the IGS delivers services and ideas to maximize revenues and brand awareness through conferences, education sessions, case studies and other global platforms. The IGS keeps you informed on industry issues and offers you the combined experience of professionals and educators across the world who gladly share their knowledge and expertise of geosynthetics.

Membership in the IGS is primarily organized through national Chapters. Most individual members (94%) belong to the IGS through Chapters. Chapter participation allows members to be informed about and participate in, local and regional activities in addition to providing access to the resources of the IGS.

To become a member of an IGS Chapter (and the IGS) select Chapter Membership Applications below. Click on the chapter of interest for information on how to join that chapter.

If your country does not currently have a Chapter, if you are interested in becoming a Corporate Member of the IGS or if you are interested in joining the IGS as an individual member without participation in a chapter then you may join IGS directly by clicking on International Society Only – Membership Applications (Individual and Corporate).

our story

1988 - 1990

As this proves to be a profitable enterprise, in 1860 the family move to Oss, Brabant in the Netherlands, to focus on building up a successful business in the butter trade.
